Created by Ferdinand A. Porsche in 1982, the avant-garde designed IWC Aquatimer was years ahead of its time, not only in style but as an extremely pressure-resistant diver’s watch. Launched to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Aquatimer, the Automatic 2000 edition - dubbed “35 Years Ocean 2000” features striking recessed grips on the bezel and a ridged rubber strap, both details are very much reminiscent of the 1982 original model. The IWC Aquatimer 2000 Edition “35 Years Ocean 2000” is powered by a 30120 caliber and has a 42-hour power reserve. A 42mm titanium case surrounds a black dial on a black rubber strap with pin buckle closure.
