The now-retired 5004G-014 was introduced by Patek Philippe in 1996 and was renowned for its split-second complication and makes it one of the more complicated pieces that watch collectors adore. The 5004G-014 is a 37mm white gold case with an exhibition case back, a sapphire crystal and a white gold knurled crown. The dial is white with three sub-dials, a date and day window at the upper central position of the face and Arabic numeral hour markers. 5004G-014 is powered by the manually wound CHR 27-70Q caliber which has chronograph functionality and a power reserve of 60 hours. The case is paired with a leather strap that has a white gold fold-over clasp. It has a water resistance of 30 meters (100 feet).
