Cartier created the W69012Z4 from the Ballon Bleu collection to illustrate the whimsical wonder of a hot air balloon in timepiece form. The W69012Z4 has a round-shaped stainless-steel case that is 42MM in diameter and 13 thick with a sapphire crystal and pull/push crown with a fixed stainless steel bezel. It has a silver opaline dial with blue steel sword hands, a date window and Roman numerals hour markers. The W69012Z4 is powered by the caliber 049 which has date functionality with a power reserve of 42 hours. The case is paired with a stainless-steel bracelet with a stainless steel fold-over clasp. It has a water resistance of 30 meters (100 feet).
