The 25979ST.0.0002CA.01 City of Sails timepiece was created to celebrate the long-standing collaboration between Audemars Piguet and the Swiss Alinghi sailing team. The 25979ST.0.0002CA.01 has a 39mm stainless steel case with a sapphire crystal and a solid case back. The dial features a grey tapisserie pattern with three sub-dials, a date window and Arabic numeral hour markers. The 25979ST.0.0002CA.01 is powered by the self-winding 2385 caliber which has chronograph, date and small second functionality with a power reserve of 40 hours. The case is paired with a black rubber bracelet with a stainless steel fold-over clasp. It has a water resistance of 50 meters. Only 200 pieces were made of this limited-edition watch.
