Founded in 1868 by an American engineer in Switzerland, IWC has married new world advancements in production with a centuries-long tradition of Swiss craftsmanship. A true 80s’ classic the Da Vinci IW458312 sets itself apart with its use of a round case (inspired by Da Vinci’s fascination with spherical shapes). Powered by the 35111 calibers and housing a 42-hour power reserve, the eye-catching timepiece makes use of a blue dial with polished Arabic markers, date window at the 6 o’clock position. On the rear of the case, the flower of life is engraved – which is a tribute from IWC to Leonardo da Vinci’s search for mathematical rules for beauty and proportions.
